To protect against cybersecurity threats, it is necessary to continuously monitor and
maintain a comprehensive and holistic cybersecurity concept. A suitable concept com-
prises organizational, technical, procedural, electronic, and physical levels of defense
and provides suitable measures for different types of risks. SICK's products and solu-

behind the driver assistance system:

Meaning
Volume (3D) captured by the sensor head.
Detection zone: The physical zone whose limits are
determined by the sensor head lens and inside which
the system is able to capture data.
Alarm zone: The zone whose limits are determined
by the software and inside which the system outputs
alarms.
The area on the ground (2D) that is captured by the
sensor head. The range is the projection of the (3D)
zone at ground level.
Detection zone: The physical zone whose limits are
determined by the sensor head lens and inside which
the system is able to capture data.
