1.3 R&TTE Directive
The FSA 500 is a class 1 wireless device (R&TTE
1999/55/EC) approved for use in Europe. In France, use
of the FSA 500 is only permissible indoors.

In non-European countries the corresponding nation-
al regulations on the operation of wireless devices
in the 2.4 GHz frequency band must be heeded (e.g.
WLAN or Bluetooth).

FCC Rules

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC
Rules. Notice:
Changes or modifications made to this equip-
ment not expressly approved by Robert Bosch
LLC may void the FCC authorization to oper-
ate this equipment.
1.5 Japan
Pursuant to the Japanese Radio Law(電波法) and the
Japanese Telecommunications Business Law(電気通信事
業法), this device has been granted according "Ordinance
concerning the Technical Regulations Conformity Certifica-
tion etc. of Specified Radio Equipment (特定無線設備の技
術基準適合証明等に関する規則)" and "Ordinance Concerning
Technical Conditions Compliance Approval etc. of Terminal
Equipment (端末機器の技術基準適合認定等に関する規則)".
