W W a a r r n n i i n n g g : : Connect the cable only to compatible light sources. Refer to the Stryker
light source user manual for any restrictions. Connecting incompatible equipment to a light
source can cause unexpected results.
Before using the cable with an endoscope, check the outer surface of the endoscope to
ensure there are no rough surfaces, sharp edges, or protrusions.
Keep fingers away from the light source cable port when inserting the cable, as the clamp
may inadvertently deploy and cause injury.
1. Turn the jaw on the light source clockwise to lock open the cable clamp.
2. Insert the light source end of the cable into the light source until the clamp deploys.
3. Connect the appropriate adapter to an endoscope by threading the adapter onto the
endoscope light post.
