Microwave mode

The "microwave" operating mode is suitable
for the preparation of:
– stews, soups, sauces
– meat without crusts
– steamed fish
– vegetables
– side dishes (rice, boiled potatoes,
some pasta)
– hot drinks
– defrosting small portions
Operating modes

Microwave power levels

The microwave has 5 power levels.
Power Applications
level
70W Gentle defrosting, e.g. with ga-
teau or puff pastry products.
210W Cook rice, pasta and dump-
lings, or heat baked egg cus-
tard.
350W More compact dishes which re-
quire a long cooking time when
using the oven, e.g. beef dish-
es.
560W Longer cooking times for com-
pact dishes such as roasts,
meatloaf or plate dishes. In-
cluding for delicate dishes such
as cheese sauces or pound
cake. When using this setting,
sauces do not boil over and
dishes cook evenly, without the
edges turning hard or the dish
overflowing.
700W Quick cooking / Heat Up. e.g.
for soups, casseroles, canned
food, hot beverages, vegeta-
bles, fish etc.
You can also use the button
return the appliance to idle mode from
the functions menu.
