Unpacking, Assembly and Initial
System Check
Unpacking:
Verify that all items on packing list match the
products you have received (verify serial numbers
and references). Damage should be reported
immediately to DePuy Mitek Sales Representative
or call DePuy Mitek Customer Service in the USA
at +1-800-382-4682, Option 2. Save all packing
material, as they will be required to ship products
in case of a product return.
Once box is open, remove, read, and follow the
instructions in the Instructions for Use. To remove
the FMS DUO+ console, place hands on both
sides of console until you can securely grasp the
underside. Carefully remove the console from the
box, and place it on a level and sturdy surface.

Assembly:
Note: Numbers in ( ) refer to diagram in
section 1.5
- Connect the power cord to the power connection
(23).
- Connect the foot pedal to the foot pedal
connection (25) on the back of the pump.
Initial System Check:
- Switch the I/O switch (23) on "I".
- Turn the device ON by pressing the POWER (4)
switch.
- Press the Pump (13) and Shaver Run/Stop pads
(18) to Run.
- Press on all pads (an audible tone should be
heard for each pad pressed).
