Physical Inspection

• Disconnect the console from the power supply.
• I nspect all exterior components, surfaces, and
corners for damage. If the unit was dropped,
contact your DePuy Mitek Sales Representative
or call DePuy Mitek Customer Service in the
USA at +1-800-382-4682 to arrange for repair or
replacement.
• I nspect the foot pedal and handpiece for obvious
signs of mechanical damage or wear.
• I nspect the power cable, verify that the cable is
intact.
• E nsure that the handpiece and foot pedal cables
and connectors are in good condition. Look for
cuts on the cables and missing or bent pins on
the connectors.
• R etract the fuse drawer and verify that both fuses
are intact and match the current, time delay and
voltage ratings per the back panel label.
