7.4 Changing the sampling rate for the digital outputs
The default sampling rate of 48 kHz for the digital outputs can be
changed to 44�1 kHz�
To change the sampling rate:
1) Press the key SETUP (5) to call up the setup menu�
2) Tap the button "Setup" on the left to call up the view for various
system settings�
3) Under "Sample Rate", tap the corresponding sampling rate
(fig� 33)� A message will appear to inform you that the setting will
only be valid for the digital outputs� Confirm with "Yes"�

7.6 Key lock

A key lock can be activated to prevent unintentional operation� To
activate the key lock, briefly press the key
dark and all other keys will no longer respond� To deactivate the key
lock, press the key
once again�
A password can be defined in the submenu "Setup ➾ System
Maintenance" so that the key lock can only be deactivated when this
password has been entered:
1) Press the key SETUP (5) to call up the setup menu�
2) Tap the button "Setup" on the left to call up the view for various
system settings (fig� 26)�
3) Under "System", tap the button "Maintenance"� A view with
various system functions will appear�
4) Activate the option "Password" (ON)� A message will appear warn-
ing you that you will have to enter the password to deactivate
the lock�
5) Use the keyboard appearing on the screen to enter a password
and make sure to remember it!
6) Tap "OK" to confirm or "Cancel"�
7) Press the key BACK (5) to exit the setup maintenance submenu�

7.7 Protection against change of configuration
A password protection can be set up to prevent unauthorized change
of essential settings� Basic operation (e� g� volume adjustment) will still
be possible, but configuration settings can only be made when the
password has been entered�

system settings (fig� 26)�
3) Under "System", tap the button "Maintenance"� A view with
various system functions will appear�
4) Tap the button "UI Lock"� A message will appear prompting you
to enter a password�
5) Use the keyboard appearing on the screen to enter a password
and make sure to remember it!
6) Tap "Lock UI" to confirm or "Cancel"�
7) Press the key BACK (5) to exit the setup maintenance submenu�
To deactivate the password protection, press the key BACK and enter
the password�

7.8 Wireless LAN mode

A wireless LAN adapter in the shape of a USB plug is supplied with the
mixer� This will allow you to connect the mixer to an existing wireless
LAN network or to use it as a wireless access point (AP) to set up your
own wireless LAN network� The mixer can then be remotely controlled

by means of suitable software�
To set up the wireless LAN:
1) Connect the wireless LAN adapter to one of the two USB ports (3)�
2) Press the key SETUP (5) to call up the setup menu�
3) Tap the button "Setup" on the left to call up the view for various
system settings (fig� 26)�
4) Under "System", tap the button "Setup Wifi"� The view "Wi-Fi"
(fig� 35) will appear�
5) When the wireless LAN interface has been set up, press the key
SETUP to exit the setup menu�
