6.5 Crossover network

The mixer is equipped with a crossover network that is used to send
a low-bass signal for operating subwoofer speakers� For this purpose,
a low-pass filter can be activated for Bus 8� Regardless of this, the
signal of the sum channel L / R MIX OUTPUT can be cut off in the
low-frequency range so that the signal will be split to the two ways�
Requirements:
– All input channels whose input signals are also to be sent to the
subwoofer must not only be assigned to the sum channel but also
to Bus 8 (
 chapter 5�2�2)�
– Bus 8 must be assigned to the outputs which are connected to the
amplifier inputs of the subwoofers (
– If only a mono subwoofer is to be used, the mono sum of the signal
can be created via the function "Sum" of Bus 8 (

To adjust the crossover network:
1) Press the key SETUP (5) to call up the setup menu�
2) Tap the button "Setup" on the left to call up the view for various
system settings� The settings for the crossover network can be
found in the lower section (fig� 31)�
3) Under "Crossover", activate the low-pass filter for "BUS 8" and,
if required, the high-pass filter for "Master LR" via the buttons
"IN"� When the filter has been activated, the button will be blue�

7 System Configuration

7.1 Resetting the mixer to the factory settings

The mixer can be reset to its factory settings if required� All settings
made by the user will be lost� Therefore, to preserve your own settings,
make a backup of the corresponding scenes to an external USB storage
device (
 chapter 5�8) or export all settings (
resetting� After resetting, the exported settings can be imported into
the mixer again�
1) Press the key SETUP (5) to call up the setup menu�
2) Tap the button "Setup" on the left to call up the view for various
system settings (fig� 26)�
3) Under "System", tap the button "Maintenance"� A view with
various system functions will appear�
4) To reset the mixer to the factory settings, tap the button "Factory
Reset"� Confirm the security prompt with "Factory Reset" or cancel
with "Cancel"�
The mixer will switch off and restart with the factory settings�

7.2 Setting the date and the time

A correct time setting is important for the management of scenes�
To set the current time:
1) Press the key SETUP (5) to call up the setup menu�
2) Tap the button "Setup" on the left to call up the view for various
system settings (fig� 26):
3) Under "System", tap the button "Maintenance"� A view with
various system functions will appear�
4) Tap the button "Time Settings"� The view for setting the time will
appear�
5) Make the settings and confirm with "Save"�

6) Press the key BACK (5) to exit the setup maintenance submenu�

7.3 Changing the unit of measurement for signal delay
For signal delay (DELAY), enter either the delay time (ms) or alterna-
tively the distance (m or ft), e� g� the distance between two speakers
or microphones� The delay time will be automatically calculated from
