The Inflow volume - shown on display (17) - is the volume that goes inside the
patient starting with the moment that the Reset key is pressed.
Pressing the Reset Key (18) sets the inflow, outflow and deficit values to 0.
The deficit alert icon (19) is lighted when the deficit measured increases
dramatically in a short time (300 ml/min). Measurement of the deficit takes
place automatically every 30 seconds.
The Deficit bar graph (20) displays the deficit threshold of the value preset in the
user menu. ( P03, Chapter 5.13 Launching/Configuring the User Menu, page 28).
Watch out for possible leakages due to perforation of the uterine cavity.
To turn off the display unit undo the connection between pump and display unit,
activate the menu mode (ON and (MENU) key),
->error message E02 will come up.
Switch device off.
->With this the balancing will be deactivated.
Turn device back on.
In accordance with its design purpose, the pump may be used without balancing
system only for diagnostic purposes. Pay attention to the indications for the
pump unit in the separate handbook.

5.12 Bag and Container Recognition

The system recognizes automatically the exchange of a bag or container. The
deficit display shows BAG whenever the scale system vibrates (exchange of bag
or container, movement of the stand). This vibration should last only a short time
(<5 sec.). The adjusted values are displayed once the bag and container detection
(approx. 6 seconds) is finished.
Any contact with the scale system, or a bag or container exchange must be
performed quickly (<5 sec.) and with minimal shaking.
In order not to impair the exactness of measurement, the empty bags should
remain hanging.
