Please consider that the sensor could be damaged in the case of a too strong tightening torque.

Sensor Mounting

The preconditions have to be fulfilled according to the instruction manual for installation and overlap-
ping of the sensor, see Chap. 2.5.
Please switch on the NLS3181 and consider warm-up period.
Screw in the sensor by hand using the tools delivered on mechanical contact to needle.
Turn back the sensor by a quarter. This corresponds to approximately 70 μm.
Connect the sensor to NLS3181 and record output signal.
Only with LS04(04) necessarily: Remove sensor using the tool delivered.
Chose sealing washer (400, 500, 600 μm) according to your production tolerance.
Mount the sensor including the sealing washer and tool on the electrical value of the output signal,
see point 4, with a torque of 2.6 ... 2.8 Nm.
Verify the output signal. If necessary, please repeat point
Set the gain and offset on the NLS3181 as required.
Please adjust the tool in order to fit it completely into the holes provided.
Make sure that the drilling openings in the sensor are cleaned.
Please check the tool for any damage before using it.
