2.1.2
Design details
Design details must comply with the provisions listed in Appendix 1.1 to 1.12.
2.1.3
Stability verification
The tanks are stable under the applicable conditions of use.
2.1.4
Fire characteristics
The material fibreglass-reinforced reaction resin is normally flammable in the thickness used in
this application (building material class B2 as per DIN 4102-1)
resistance to flames.
2.2
Manufacture, packaging, transport, storage and labelling
2.2.1
Manufacture
(1) The product must be manufactured as specified in Appendix 4, Section 1.
(2) The tanks may be manufactured only in the Schnelldorf factory.
2.2.2
Packaging, transport, storage
Packaging, transport, and storage must conform to Appendix 4, Section 2.
2.2.3
Labelling
(1) The tanks must be labelled with the conformity mark in compliance with the conformity
directives of the German states. The mark may be used only if the requirements of Section 2.3
are fulfilled.
(2) Furthermore, the manufacturer must label the tanks in a permanent, clearly visible mannerwith
the following information:
– manufacturing number,
– year of manufacture,
– tank capacity in litres for the permitted level of filling (as per the German approval regulations
for overfill guards
– permitted operating temperature,
– the filling level corresponding to the maximum approved filling volume (see Section 5.1.3)
must be marked on the level indicator.
– notice of depressurised operation;
– A notice „Only for storing substances in accordance with General Building Inspectorate
Approval No. Z-40.11-280". The tank manufacturer must label the connections for the leak

„Measuring connection".
For information on labeling of the tanks by the operator, see Section 5.1.5.1.
2.3
Proof of conformity
2.3.1
General information
(1) Proof that the tanks conform to the specifications of this General Building Inspectorate
Approval is a certificate of conformity obtained by the manufacturing plant on the basis of the
manufacturer's production quality control and regular external monitoring, including an initial
inspection of the tanks in accordance with the following specifications.
(2) For a certificate of conformity to be granted and the external monitoring including the
required product tests, the manufacturer of the tanks must use the services of a certification
agency and a monitoring agency recognised for these purposes.
