The shop configuration settings allow you to state whether PIN codes or ID keys are
used for each user; see section Shop configuration. If this is not done, there is no
login procedure and the column starts up in the main screen immediately after it is
switched on.
4.5.2

Startup and login

The column lifts may only be used by authorized users. The names of these users
can be entered in a separate menu.
When the system is started up, the user must identify themselves with an individual
PIN code.

There are separate PIN codes for:
 workplace supervisor;
This PIN code also gives access to the workplace settings that are not accessible
for the normal users.
 service staff;
This PIN code also gives access to the service settings that are also not
accessible for the normal users.

4.5.3

ID key

Every user also has an ID key that can be used for linking individual columns
together to create a single vehicle lift.

To create a vehicle lift, the user holds the ID key up to the antenna of the columns in
question. The columns are then connected together by a wireless network to
produce a single vehicle lift.
