Safety measures
For safe operation, installation and maintenance of the vehicle lifts, the following
safety measures must be observed:
use the vehicle lift exclusively for lifting vehicles, and for no other purpose,
install the vehicle lift in such a way that a safe working environment is created, at
the same time providing escape routes for emergencies (minimum 600 mm free
passage),
to reduce the risk of electric shock, avoid working on wet surfaces and do not
expose the lifting system to rain,
do not use the lifting system outdoors when wind speeds exceed the maximum
stated in section Outdoor use (on page 47) of the Operator Manual,
do not leave vehicles unattended in the raised position when the lifting system is
used outdoors; the wind speed might increase and exceed the prescribed safe
maximum,
allow only authorized persons to operate the vehicle lift;
these persons must always be fully conversant with the instructions for use of the
vehicle lift,
whenever operating the vehicle lift, ensure that there are no persons or objects
present in the work area of the vehicle lift (including vehicle),
watch the vehicle closely whenever the vehicle lift is being raised or lowered,

Obstacles (trestles, etc.) under the vehicle can cause hazardous situations when
lowering. Placing an excessively tall vehicle on the vehicle lift can also cause
hazardous situations to arise.
never stand on or under the vehicle (with load) while the vehicle lift is being
operated,
always raise the vehicle lift to the first safety lock whenever someone is working
at the vehicle.
always lower the vehicle lift into the safety lock whenever someone is working at
the vehicle,
never climb onto the vehicle lift or the vehicle when they are raised,
use the lifting system only as described in this manual and only use parts that are
recommended by the manufacturer,
in the event of a malfunction or when work is finished, always set the vehicle lift to
the bottom position and shut off the power using the main switch; do this by
turning the main switch to the 0 position, then pull the main plug,
