Safety guidelines for battery chargers

This appliance may be used by
children aged 8 years and above
and by persons with limited physi-
cal, sensory or mental capabili-
ties or lack of experience and
knowledge, provided that they
are under supervision or have
been told how to use the appli-
ance safely and are aware of
the potential risks . Do not allow
children to use the appliance as
a toy . Cleaning and user mainte-
nance tasks may not be carried
out by children unless they are
supervised .
The charger is suitable for
indoor use only .
If the connecting cord needs to
be replaced, this must be carried
out by the manufacturer or an
authorised representative in order
to avoid safety hazards .

Before use

Charging the device

NOTE
The appliance is supplied partially charged .
Charge the appliance before first use .
This ensures optimum performance of the
appliance . You can charge the appliance at
any time without shortening its service life .
Interruption of the charging process will not
damage the appliance .
Start charging:
Connect the charger
50/60 Hz power source .

Insert the appliance handle with the charging
contacts
into the charger
The red control LED

changes from red to green .
Stop charging:
Remove the appliance from the charger
Disconnect the charger
