Installation on tiled roofs, on end,
side by side
(up to 20 m installation height)
Two tiled roof fixing kits (22 13 36) are
D
required when installing one collector on
end on a tiled roof; from two collectors
upwards, the same number of BP fixing kits
are required as the number of collectors to
be installed.
Two mounting frames are available:
R1 (221334) for 1 collector, on end
E
R2 (221335) for 2 collectors, on end

Preparations:
For each fixing kit BP, provide at least 4 pce.
woodscrews 8/80 on site.
Method:
Select the fixing location; consider later pipe
outlets through the ventilation tile, etc.
Remove or push aside the tiles to secure
the lower roof hooks (3) down to the next
rafter.
Determine the fixing position of the lower
roof hooks (3) on the rafter. For this, the
roof hooks must be located in the valley of
the corrugation.
The clearance of the roof hooks is as

follows, when used with:

R1: 900 mm (+/- 200 mm),
—
R2: 1200 mm (+/- 200 mm),
subject to the tile valley. The support plates
(2) can be used to compensate for different
heights.
Secure the roof hooks (3) on the rafter
with at least two woodscrews 8/80. Tie a
guide line between both outer roof hooks
on which the installation of all further roof
hooks can be oriented.
Determine the fixing position of the

upper roof hooks as per diagrams I and J.
Fit the upper roof hook so that a

dimension of 1910 mm (-400 mm, subject to
the batten centres) is maintained between
the slots in the roof hooks.
Hook the tiles back into place
