Installation
The solar heating system must

only be filled with H - 30 L or
H - 30 LS heat transfer medium to provide
protection against frost and corrosion.
If more than 30 collectors are grouped
together to form a hydraulic assembly,
the type-test qualification is invalidated.
An individual inspection is required for
larger systems.
Commercial systems, the open content of
which exceeds 10 litres and is not more
than 50 litres (6 to 30 collectors), require
notification to the relevant local authority

Pipework installation
The pipes for flow and return lines must be
made of copper or stainless steel or should
be corrugated stainless steel hoses.
Recommended pipe diameter
- up to 4 collectors:
The pipes routed to the interior of the building
are to be provided on site. Ventilation tiles
are recommended as roof ducts for tiled
roofs with more severe inclination; for flat
and corrugated roofs with lesser inclinations,
routing the pipes through an external wall
is recommended. Avoid sawing off pipes
(swarf). It is advisable to use a pipe cutter
for swarf-free cutting. The pipes installed
should be connected to an earthing system
in accordance with current regulations. All
pipes must be connected to the building
earthing system via a short connection.
Soldered lines
Soldered lines must be brazed. Please
follow DVGW Code of Practice GW 2 when
carrying out this work. The solder used must

comply with DIN EN 1044: CP105 and CP203

are both used without flux. Only gunmetal
and brass fittings are to be soldered using
flux F-SH-1 in accordance with DIN 8511.

on corrosion resistance.

Alternative lines
Appropriate sealant must be used on lines
