10 Rechtliche Hinweise

Alle rechtlichen Bedingungen unterliegen dem jeweiligen Landesrecht des Verwenderlandes und
können dementsprechend variieren.
10.1 Haftung
Der Hersteller haftet, wenn das Produkt gemäß den Beschreibungen und Anweisungen in diesem
Dokument verwendet wird. Für Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachtung dieses Dokuments, insbeson-
dere durch unsachgemäße Verwendung oder unerlaubte Veränderung des Produkts verursacht
werden, haftet der Hersteller nicht.
10.2 CE-Konformität
Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen der europäischen Richtlinie 93/42/EWG für Medizinpro-
dukte. Aufgrund der Klassifizierungskriterien nach Anhang IX dieser Richtlinie wurde das Produkt
in die Klasse I eingestuft. Die Konformitätserklärung wurde deshalb vom Hersteller in alleiniger
Verantwortung gemäß Anhang VII der Richtlinie erstellt.

1 Application
The 28R14 Hyperextension Orthosis in modular design according to André Bähler is to be used
exclusively for the orthotic fitting of the trunk.
2 Indications for use and effect
Stable traumatic fractures of vertebrae of the lower thoracic spine as well as lumbar spine, and
osteoporosis. Specific indications must be determined by the physician.
The orthosis provides extension and stabilization of the spine in the sagittal plane. Based on the
3-point system (with lumbar, sternal, and symphysis pubis support pads), the orthosis causes a
lordosis, thereby relieving the anterior body of the spinal vertebrae.
3 Selecting the size of the orthosis
Size selection is based on waist circumferences as follows:
