Operational characteristics
Then execute a leak test:

Close off the inlet opening.
After a few seconds, an error
message will appear at the
bottom of the display. The red
alarm lights and the signal
tone are constantly on.
Release the inlet opening.

Press the » OK « key to switch

off the alarm lamp and the signal tone.

In a very oily environment, the use of the water and dust filter
(part number 83 13 648) is strongly recommended.
Flushing the hose probe
The hose probe must be flushed before use in order to minimise the
effects of any substances which may still be in the hose, since these
effects may easily falsify the results, especially when measuring
concentrations in the ppm range.
The running time of the pump is shown on the bottom line of the display.
The necessary flushing time depends on various factors such as the
type and concentration of the gas to be measured, the material from
which the hose is made, the length and diameter of the hose and the
age of the hose.
Attention: After complete moistening of the white membranes in front
of the pump inlet and outlet with any liquids, the membranes should be
dried before operating the unit in pump mode again. Contaminated or
dirty membranes need to be exchanged (Pump membrane set order
no. 83 18 607).
