Flow alarm in pumped mode

The signal tone sounds and the red alarm
lamp lights continuously.
» – – – « is displayed instead of the
measured value for all sensors.
In the bottom row, where the pump
information is shown, there will be an error message.
The pump is not drawing in a sufficient amount of air.
See "Faults, causes and remedies", in the "Dräger X-am 7000
Technical Manual".
Acknowledge the alarm:
Determine and rectify the cause of the fault.
Press the » OK « key to switch off the signal tone and the alarm lamp.
Pumped mode is active again.

Alarms for instrument and sensor faults

The signal tone sounds and the red alarm lamp lights continuously.
The icon »
« is displayed on the right
side of the display.
In the case of sensor faults, no measured
value for the respective sensor.
In the case of an instrument fault, » – – – «
is displayed instead of the measured value for all sensors.
The instrument is no longer (fully) functional.

to display the fault in clear text.
Acknowledge the alarm
Press the » OK « key to switch off the signal tone and the alarm lamp.
If necessary, press and hold the » ▲ « and » ▼ « keys (longer than
3 seconds) to switch off the instrument.

Measurements with the hose probe /
floating probe
(pump mode)

Following a bump test with aggressive gases (such as
biogases or chlorine), Dräger recommends flushing the pump
with clean air for several minutes to extend the service life of
the pump.

If it is not possible to exclude the possibility of an operating
duration over 7 hours in pumped mode, the NiMH power pack
6.0 Ah should be used.

Adapter for pumped mode
(1 hose nozzle = inlet) on the
holes provided for it and
secure with the screws. Do not
twist the adapter and visually
check for leaks.
The instrument automatically
switches to pumped mode.
The running time of the pump
is shown on the bottom line of
the display.
