Unscrew and remove the retaining nut (1).
Remove the discharge chute (2).
Avoid damage to the machine.
Reinstall the discharge chute
immediately after cleaning so that
this is not forgotten.

13.4 Installing the discharge chute

Avoid damage to the machine.
When pushing in, ensure that the
discharge chute fits over the
discharge opening of the mowing
deck on all sides.
Note
When cleaning the discharge chute
or each time it is removed, also
check the level sensor (grass
catcher box) and clean if
necessary.
The following points must be observed
before installation:
● Stop the engine. ( 11.3)
● Remove the ignition key and keep it in a
safe place.
● Engage the parking brake. (

● Remove the grass catcher box.

● Select the lowest cutting level.
Push the discharge chute (1) in to the stop
and position it over the discharge opening
in the mowing deck.
Screw in the retaining nut (2) and tighten.
13.5 Cleaning the level sensor (grass

catcher box)

Note
The level sensor (grass catcher
box) may become soiled when
mowing wet or moist grass.
This results in impaired function.
If the level sensor (grass catcher
box) cannot be easily moved as
described below, it must be cleaned
carefully using a brush.
By way of prevention, the level
sensor (grass catcher box) should
be cleaned following each mowing
operation or each time the
discharge chute is cleaned.

Using slight pressure, press level sensor
(grass catcher box) (1) downwards. For
this purpose, the level sensor (grass
catcher box) (1) must be easy to move and
a quiet "clicking" of the switch must be
audible.
After releasing the level sensor (grass
catcher box) (1), it must automatically
return upwards to the initial position.
If the level sensor (grass catcher box) is
soiled, it must be cleaned carefully using a
brush (not included in standard
equipment) and without water.
