Topping Up Engine Oil; Fuel Cock - Viking MR 4082 Gebrauchsanleitung

Turn the quick release cap (2) of the oil
drain hose (1) half a turn anti-clockwise
and remove.
Drain all the engine oil.
● Close the quick-release cap.
● Attach the oil drain hose to the engine.
MR 4082 K:
The oil drain tube (1) is located on the
engine, near the left-hand rear wheel.

● Place a suitable oil collecting container
underneath.
Fit a suitable hose (2) onto the branch tube
(3) of the oil drain tube (1).
Open the oil drain plug (4) using a spanner
(10 A/F) or a screwdriver (anti-clockwise)
and completely drain the engine oil.
● Close the oil drain plug.
● Remove the hose.

13.13 Topping up engine oil

Avoid damage to the machine
Avoid exceeding and falling below
the correct engine oil level.
Note
Before topping up the engine oil,
check the engine oil level.
Please consult the engine
instruction manual for the type of
engine oil to be used and the oil
capacity.
VIKING recommends using a
funnel when filling the tank with fuel
(not included in standard
equipment).
Use a suitable funnel and hose
(neither included in standard
equipment) when topping up the
engine oil.
Insert the funnel into the hose so
that the engine oil can be filled into
the funnel and then flows through
the hose.
● Open the storage compartment.

Use a funnel and hose to fill in the engine
oil.
● Close the storage compartment.

13.14 Fuel cock

The flow of fuel in the fuel line is enabled
or interrupted by opening or closing the
fuel cock.
The fuel cock is located behind the left-
hand rear wheel.
● Stop the engine.
● Engage the parking brake.
