CAUTION
Risk of injury!
If, when pulling back, the
driving wheels are locked
when the drive lever is not
actuated, the cable is
adjusted incorrectly and the
mower drive is permanently
activated.
The adjustment must be
repeated (if necessary,
contact authorised
customer service).
Mowing blade
maintenance
Maintenance interval:
Every 25 operating hours
If mowing results deteriorate
with time, the mowing blade is
probably blunt. The blade
must be re-sharpened or
replaced.

necessary expertise or
auxiliary equipment, please

In the interests of safety,

spare parts.

Always wear
gloves.
Release the
6= blade fastening screws
using a 17 A/F spanner
and remove the
7= mowing blade together
with the
8=
spring washer.
Sharpening the
mowing blades
The following points must be
observed when re-sharpening
the mowing blade:
• Cool the mowing blade
when sharpening, e.g. with
water. The blade must not
be allowed to display blue
colouring, as this would
reduce its cutting quality.
• Sharpen blades evenly to
prevent vibration due to
imbalance.

Always wear
gloves.
NOTE
It is recommended to
replace the spring washer 8
following each removal of
the mowing blade 7.
Install the
7=
mowing blade with the
curved edges pointing
upwards.
Tighten
6= blade fastening screw
together with
8=
spring washer with a
torque of 45 - 50 Nm.
CAUTION
Risk of injury!
Check blade for damage
before installing.
The blade must be replaced
if notches or cracks are
detected, or if the blades
are sharpened back by
5 mm (wear limit X).
When installing the
mowing blade, a torque
of 45 - 50 Nm must be
stringently observed.
