Troubleshooting guide, Truma VarioHeat

Fault Cause
# 2 Flame not recognised:
– Gas cylinder or quick-acting valve in the gas
supply line closed
– Gas pressure regulation system iced up
– Butane content in the gas cylinder too high
– Combustion air infeed or exhaust outlet is
sealed
# 7 – Room temperature sensor not connected or
cable defective
# 11 – Temperature cutout has been triggered
# 25 – Overvoltage > 16.4 V
# 26 – Low voltage,battery voltage too low < 10 V
# 27 – Warm air outlets blocked
– Circulated air intake blocked
– End outlets EN closed up
# 28 – Open window above cowl (window switch)
# 29 – Risk of low voltage, battery voltage too low
< 10.4 V
# 32 – Motor wear limit will be reached soon
# 255 – No connection between heater and
control panel
– Control panel cable or main fuse defective

Troubleshooting guide (air conditioning system)

Fault code Cause
# 1 Failure (short circuit or broken cable), room temperature
sensor
# 2 Ice sensor failure – internal
# 4 Ice sensor failure – external (if present)
# 8 IR receiver unplugged or cable broken

Remedy
– Check gas supply and open valves
– Use EisEx regulator heater
– Use propane (butane is unsuitable for heating, particularly
at temperatures below 10 °C)
– Inspect openings for obstructions (slush, ice, leaves, etc.)
and remove any obstructions

– Charge battery and replace old battery if necessary

Inspect the filter and replace it if necessary
Keep the air inlets / outlets on the roof free of obstructions such as
leaves
