5.2.6 PC and printer

1. Press Lamp Control in the Instrument Setup.
2. Select On to switch on the Lamp.
3. Select Save: in order to define a time interval for the burning
4. Press the field below Save to select the lamp burning time.
5. Select the length of time the lamp will be switched on.
6. Press OK to confirm.
The LCS III is provided with 2 USB interfaces, which are located on
the back of the instrument (see
interfaces can be used for exporting data and graphics to a printer,
updating data and for data communication to a personal computer.
These interfaces can be used for the connection of a USB stick, an
external USB keyboard or a USB Barcode handset scanner.
Note: A USB hub may be used to connect several accessories at a time.

Description
This USB interface is only intended for the LCS III to PC connection (with installation of the Data
Trans Software).
This USB port can be used to connect a printer, a USB memory stick and keyboard.
• If the instrument is not used during a longer period
(1–12 hours).
• If the instrument will never be switched off.
