10. Operation

a) Setting the Operating Mode
The effect light can be controlled with the integrated controller or with an external DMX controller. Ad-
ditionally, it can be used as a master device with integrated controller to control other connected effect
lights synchronously in master-slave operation, or as slave device via the controller of another effect light.
The operating modes are set in the menu via the display (3) and the function buttons FUNC (5), DOWN (6),
UP (7) and ENTER (8).
• Press FUNC (5) repeatedly to select the desired function.
• Press the ENTER (8) button to confirm your selection.
• Select the desired option with the UP (7) and DOWN (6) buttons.
• Press the ENTER button (8) to confirm your selection.
The installed controller needs a few seconds to accept and implement the settings.

b) Use with an External DMX Controller
Each DMX device in a DMX chain requires a so-called DMX starting address to be clearly identified by the
controller. This DMX starting address specifies the first DMX channel to which the effect light responds.
The remaining control channels come after this first DMX channel (DMX starting address).
The effect light requires 6 free DMX channels.
