• After switching the device on, the LED display shows the battery level as a percentage from b000 to b100.
It may take a while for the battery level to be displayed after the device is turned on.
Discharge the battery until it is almost empty at least once every 3 months (approx. every 30
charge cycles) in order to calibrate the battery level indicator. Never fully discharge the battery
as this significantly decreases its lifespan.

d) Rechargeable battery - charging the battery

• Move the LOAD switch (2) to the OFF position and the BATTERY switch (3) to the ON position.
• Connect the POWER IN socket (8) to the mains.
• The LED display (5) flashes to indicate that the battery is charging. Wait a while until the display flashes.
• A full charge cycle takes approximately 3-4 hours. It takes around 3 hours to charge the final 25% of the
battery capacity. The LED display stops flashing when the battery is fully charged.
• The LED spot is then ready for use with the rechargeable battery. At full load, a fully charged battery
will last for around 4 hours (±20 minutes). In automatic mode the battery will provide around 8 hours
(±20 minutes) of use.

13. Operation

a) Button configuration on the LED spot

The LED spot can be controlled with the integrated controller or with an external DMX controller.
Additionally, it can be used as a master device with the integrated controller to control other LED spots
connected in a chain synchronously in a master-slave setup, or it can be controlled as a slave device using
the controller on another LED spot. The LED display (5) and the MODE (12), SET UP (11), UP (10) and DOWN
(9) buttons can be used to view various settings in the menu.
• Press the MODE button to scroll through the menu options.
• Press the SET UP button to scroll through the sub-menus for the selected menu option.
• Press the UP and DOWN buttons to select the available values for the selected sub-menu. To scroll
through the menu options quickly, press and hold either of these buttons.
If no button is pressed for approximately 20 seconds, the display automatically switches to
standby (battery level display) when the device is operated using the rechargeable battery.
