Now guide the linkage rods thought the drilling of the hold-
ing pin on the servo saver and secure the rods with a grub
screw (1), that is screwed into the holding pin from the top
with the help of a 1.5 mm Allen key (2).
Before you fasten the grub screw, use the remote control
transmitter and the steering servo again.
Afterwards check the trim on the transmitter and the correct
setting of the lever on the steering servo.
Now both front wheels are aligned precisely to the direction
of driving and afterwards the grub screws are tightened care-
fully.

c) Testing of steering function with the help of transmitter

If the front wheels are turning left although you steered towards the right on the transmitter, you have to change the
direction of steering of the steering servo with the servo reverse function on the remote control transmitter.
If the steering on the vehicle already responds strongly to a slight steering on the transmitter, choose a steering point
for the steering rods that is further on the inside on the lever of the steering servo.
Our tip:
Always try to set the mechanics optimally first before you limit the servo path electronically with trans-
mitter functions such as end point adjustment (EPA) or dual rate (D/R).

d) Installation of mechanical cruise control

It is optional to equip your model vehicle with a mechanical
or with an electronic cruise control.
Since you can only switch the drive function slow and fast
driving forward as well as backward with a mechanical cruise
control, we recommend to equip your vehicle with an elec-
tronic cruise control.
For an electronic cruise control you have the possibility to
accelerate and brake continuously and to drive (depending
on the version) backward. Furthermore, only the amount of
energy that is needed for the respective drive situation is
taken from the drive battery.
A mechanical cruise control in comparison, inefficiently "burns up" the energy not needed during slow driving because
of a series resistance.
