e) Modifying the transmitter-push stick assignment
If you want to fly with the pre-set stick assignments described above, then you can ignore this chapter. However, if you
wish to exchange the control of the pitch and nod function at the transmitter, you have the possibility to carry out
modifications on the transmitter. However, this requires some experience in handling remote control sensors and a bit
of skill.
• First remove the batteries/accumulators from the battery
compartment (see ill. 2).
• Unscrew the four screws by means of a Phillips-tip
screwdriver from the rear panel of the transmitter and
lift the rear panel carefully.
• Now you can remove the circuit board with the master/
slave port from the two retention latches.
• Seen from the rear, loosen the stop spring (1) from the
right control stick aggregate and screw it on mirror-
inverted to the left control stick aggregate (seen from
the rear) to the attachment (2).
• Loosen the adjuster screw (3) for the restoring force of
the nod control stick so far that the traction spring is as
slack as possible.
• Now you can easily lift the screw together with the
adjustment mechanics upwards, disconnect the traction
spring (4) and then completely lift it out of the track.
• Finally, lift out the release lever (5) together with the
tension spring (4).
Please note:
Before you insert the release lever together with the tension spring (seen from the rear) on the right
control stick aggregate, it makes sense to fix the spring on the release lever with some adhesive.
This way, it remains at an exact 90° angle to the lever and can easily be reinserted.
You best fix the tension spring in place with a thin wire or a needle with a small catch on the tip.
