g) Activating the speed controller

First switch on the remote control, see chapter 8. c) and 8. d), if you have not already done so! Place the
vehicle on a suitable support as described in chapter 8. e) to ensure the wheels can turn freely.
Never touch the drive mechanism. Risk of injury!
Now switch on the speed controller, put the on/off switch in the ON position. The motor/speed controller plays a sound

If the LED flashes green, the throttle (fig. 1, pos 10) or the drive trim control (fig. 1, pos. 7) are not in
neutral position. In this case, the drive is deactivated for safety reasons. Re-programme neutral position
for the speed controller and the end positions for full forward and reverse throttle.
To do so, see chapter 9.

h) Checking drive and steer functions

Before using the model, always check if the transmitter settings are correct and if the vehicle responds to the remote
signals correctly.
As described in chapter 8. e) and 8. g), the vehicle has to be placed on a suitable support (e.g. starter
box) so that the wheels can turn freely and do not touch the ground.
• Set the drive trim (fig. 1, pos. 7) so that the drive does not move when the throttle (ill.1, pos. 10) is released.
• Adjust the steering trim (fig. 1, pos. 9) so that the front wheels are straight when the control wheel (fig. 1, pos. 9) is
released. The precise trimming for directional stability can be made later when driving.
• Check if the steering responds correctly to the control wheel (fig. 1, pos. 9). Should the response be in the opposite
direction (wheel turned left, steering turns right), put the reverse switch (fig. 1, pos. 4) in the other position.
• Check if the drive responds correctly to the lever (fig. 1, pos. 10). Please read chapter 8. j) in this respect.
• Make sure the fan on the speed controller works properly. The speed controller may only be operated if the fan works
properly.

i) Attaching and fastening the vehicle body

Push the aerial tube from the underside of the body through the designated opening. If there is no opening, you can
easily make one at the appropriate spot using a suitable tool.
Now put the vehicle body on the holders and fasten them using the holding clips previously removed.
Your vehicle is now ready for its first test run!
