After that, adjust the trim so that the motor no longer turns when you let go of the lever for forward/reverse operation
or until the steering assembly is straight (the precise settings for driving straight can be carried out later on whilst
driving).
• When putting the device into operation always turn on the transmitter first. Only then can the rechargeable battery
pack of the vehicle be connected with the cruise control/receiver and the model be switched on. Otherwise there
may be unexpected responses of the cruise control/receiver and therefore the electric model! Pull the telescopic
antenna out completely.
• Improper operation can cause serious damage to people and property! Only drive as long as you have visible
contact to the model. This is why you shouldn't drive at night.
• Only drive when your ability to react is unrestrained. Tiredness or the influence of alcohol or drugs can cause
incorrect responses, just as with real vehicles.
• Please note that this model vehicle must not be driven on public roads or streets. Only operate it on private sites or
places which are specifically designated for this purpose.
• Don't drive towards animals or people!
• Don't drive in the rain, through wet grass, water, mud or snow. The model is not waterproof or watertight.
• Also avoid driving at very low outdoor temperatures. In the case of coldness, the plastic of the car body can loose its
elasticity; this is when even small accidents can lead to damages to the model.
• Do not drive in the case of thunderstorm, under high-voltage power lines or in the proximity of radio masts.
• Do not take any risks when operating the product. Your own security and that of your environment is solely down to
you being responsible when dealing with the model.
• Always leave the remote control (transmitter) turned on, as long as the model is in operation. To stop the vehicle,
always turn the vehicle off first and then separate the rechargeable battery pack from the cruise control/receiver,
only after that can the remote control be turned off.
• Before operating the model, check whether the stationary model reacts as expected to the remote control com-
mands.
• In the case of weak batteries (or rechargeable batteries) in the remote control, the range decreases. When the drive
battery is getting weak, the vehicle will get slower or will no longer respond correctly to the remote control.
If this is the case, stop drive operation instantly. Afterwards, you should exchange the batteries for new ones or
charge the rechargeable batteries.
• The motor and drive as well as cruise control and rechargeable battery pack of the vehicle get hot during operation.
This is why you should have a break of 5-10 minutes between each change of rechargeable battery or charging
process.
Do not touch the motor or the cruise control until they have cooled down. Risk of burns!

11. Entretien et nettoyage

a) Remarques générales relatives au nettoyage
Débarrassez le modèle réduit, à la suite de toute utilisation, de toute poussière ou salissure. Utilisez, par ex. un
pinceau propre à longs poils et un aspirateur. Des sprays à air comprimé pourraient être utiles.
N'utilisez pas de spray de nettoyage ou de détergent conventionnel. Ceci pourrait endommager l'élec-
tronique et décolorer les pièces en matières plastiques ou la carrosserie.
Pour nettoyer la carosserie, un chiffon doux, léger, humidifié peut être utilisé. Ne frottez pas trop fort, ceci pourrait
causer des rayures ou endommager la couche de vernis.
b) Travaux d'entretien généraux
Des travaux d'entretien et des contrôles du fonctionnement doivent être effectués sur le modèle réduit à certains
intervalles, assurant ainsi une mise en service et un fonctionnement irréprochables.
Les vibrations du moteur et les chocs pendant la conduite peuvent causer le dévissage de pièces ou d'assemblages.
Pour cette raison, assurez-vous que tous les écrous de roues et les assemblages sont fermement fixés. Il en va de
même pour les autres pièces de la voiture.
Contrôlez si les pneus sont bien placés sur les jantes ou si les parties collées se sont detachées.
Tous les roulements à billes et la boîte de vitesse dans la voiture ont été enduits de lubrifiants appropriés. En règle
général, une relubrification n'est pas nécessaire. Les articulations sur la voiture et les supports de roues nécessitent,
cependant, après chaque utilisation de la voiture, un nettoyage éventuel et une relubrification au moyen d'un lubrifiant
approprié (à acheter dans les commerces d'accessoires). Il en va de même lors du remplacement de pièces d'entraî-
nement ou de roues d'engrenage.
Eliminez absolument tout excédent d'huile ou de graisse étant donné que la poussière s'y accumule
rapidement. De plus vous polluez, le cas échéant la nature !
S'il vous faut remplacer des pièces usées ou défectueuses de la voiture, n'utilisez alors que des pièces de rechange
d'origine. Vous pouvez les commander par l'intermédiaire de notre service après vente.
Veillez à ne ni plier ni coincer les câbles.
Contrôlez le modèle avant chaque mise en marche pour vérifier qu'il n'est pas endommagé ! Au cas où vous consta-
teriez un endommagement, n'utilisez plus la voiture. Puis, apportez-la dans un atelier spécialisé.
