12. Operation

a) Enter altitude

The barometric pressure can only be displayed correctly if the altitude at the location of the
installation.
You can find out the altitude of the place where you live e.g. from your local
government or city council but also from maps or possibly from the Internet.
A setting to the exact meter is not necessary (since there is not the same altitude
everywhere in one place), an approximation of 10-30m is sufficient.
To set the altitude, proceed as follows:
• Press and hold the "HISTORY" button (6) on the back of the weather station for 5 seconds.
• The value for the altitude flashes in the upper right of the display of the weather station (e.g.
"510" indicates an altitude of 510m).
• Set the altitude with the buttons "+" (7) and "-" (8) on the reverse of the device.
• If no key is pressed for about 5 seconds, the value is saved and the setting mode is exited.
b) Displaying temperature and humidity
The indoor temperature and indoor humidity (sensor integrated in the weather station) is
shown in the bottom area (F) of the display of the weather station ("IN" symbol at the left
margin).
The outdoor temperature and outdoor humidity are displayed on the line above it. Up to three
outdoor sensors can be selected with the "CHANNEL" (10) button. The respective active
channel number is shown on the display to the left of the measured value display.
If no data is received from one of the outdoor sensors, there will only be lines (e.g.
"--.-") in the temperature and humidity display, instead of a reading.
On the right next to the outdoor humidity and the outdoor temperature you will see an arrow
symbol which shows the trend for those values:
Rising
Decreasing
54
Steady
