General
Attention! Sharp chain saw!
Please remember that the saw chain
continues running!
When the On/Off switch is released, the saw
chain continue running briefly.
 Before performing any work on the unit, remove

the battery
!
 Wear protective gloves when performing any
work on the saw chain.
 Do not start the chain saw before installing and
setting the rail and chain.
 The chain saw is delivered in four parts: Housing
of the saw chain, guard, saw chain and saw rail.
 Use only the replacement rail and saw chain
stipulated by the manufacturer.
Attaching the saw rail and saw chain

 Ensure that the chain brake has been released.
See section "Chain brake".
 Detach the handwheel


 Then position the chain saw in such a way that
the rail and chain can be securely installed.
 Place elongated hole of the saw rail on the stud
bolt
and the guide bolt

 Turn the chain tensioning wheel
to push the saw chain as far as possible onto

the chain wheel
When attaching the chain, ensure that it is in
the correct running direction
 Place the saw chain around the chain

 Place the saw chain around the saw rail
starting at the upper part of the rail.
 Tighten the chain tensioning wheel
clockwise to tension the chain. The saw chain
must not sag, but it should be possible to pull it
12 millimetres off the saw rail in the middle of the
saw rail
.
 Turn the saw chain by hand to check that it runs
perfectly. It must slide freely in the rail.

 Attach the chain guard
into the housing opening on the chain saw.
 Tighten the handwheel to attach the rail and the

Tensioning the saw chain
The saw chain must not sag, but it should be possible
to pull it 1-2 millimetres off the saw rail in the middle
of the saw rail
 Unscrew the handwheel
until the saw rail can be moved by hand.
 Turn the chain tensioning wheel on
clockwise to tension the chain.
 Turn the saw chain by hand to check that it runs
perfectly. It must slide freely in the rail.
 Tighten the handwheel to attach the rail and the
cover
Note: Check and re-adjust the tension of a new chain
after working for a few minutes. Switch the motor off,
remove the battery and actuate the chain brake.
Pour in chain oil
Attention! Fill the unit only with oil used
specifically for lubricating cordless saw
chains. Avoid spilling oil. Always wipe up
any spilled oil.
Tank volume 180 ml, enough for approx. 250 cuts.
 Unscrew the oil tank cap.
 Carefully pour in the chain lubricating oil until
it reaches the upper mark on the oil level L
indicator.
 Tighten the oil tank cap by hand.
Attention!

Ensure that dirt does not get into the oil tank.
Recommendation:
To prevent damaging the environment,
we recommend using a plant-based bio-chain
lubricating oil.



Check and re-adjust the tension of a new
chain after working for a few minutes.
Switch the unit off, remove the battery
and actuate the chain brake.

