(including children) who have limited physical,
sensory or mental abilities or who have
inadequate experience and/or knowledge of the

responsible for their safety or they have been
instructed by the person how to use the unit.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the unit.
 Switch the unit off and remove the battery under
the following conditions:
– if the unit is left unattended;
– before checking, cleaning or performing other
work on the unit;
– if the unit starts vibrating excessively.
 Operate the unit only in the technical condition
stipulated and delivered by the manufacturer.
Unauthorised changes to the unit exclude liability
of the manufacturer for any resulting damage
and/or injury.
 Spare parts must conform with the requirements
specified by the manufacturer. Therefore use
original WOLF-Garten spare parts only or spare
parts authorised by the manufacturer. When
replacing parts, please follow the supplied
installation instructions and remove the battery
beforehand.
 Have repairs carried out exclusively by a qualified
technician or a service centre.
 Use the unit only at reasonable times of the day
and not early in the morning or at night when you
may disturb people.
 While sawing, ensure that there are no persons
(particularly children) or animals in the working
area. Ensure that children do not play with the
unit.

and remove any stones and pieces of wire which
could be picked up by the chain saw to avoid

Charger

 Always check that the mains voltage corresponds
to the voltage indicated on the rating plate of the
charger.
 The charger connector must fit the socket.
Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use
adapter plugs with earthed electric tools.
Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will
reduce risk of electric shock.
 Use the charger in dry rooms only and avoid
contact with moisture and rain. The ingress of
water into the charger increases the risk of an
electric shock.
 Never use the charger if cable, plug or the unit
itself has been damaged by external influences.
Take the charger to the nearest service centre.
 Never open the charger. If the charger is
defective, take it to a service centre.
 Do not place any objects on the charger and do
not stand it on soft surfaces. There is a risk of fire.
 Use only suitable WOLF-Garten chargers for
charging batteries.

Batteries

Use only original WOLF-Garten batteries for
your unit. Use of any other battery packs
may create a risk of injury and fire.
 If a battery is used incorrectly, liquid may leak out
of the battery. Avoid contact with the battery, as it
may irritate the skin and cause burns. If you
accidentally touch the battery, rinse the affected
areas carefully with water. If liquid gets into the
eyes, consult a doctor immediately.
 If the battery is damaged and used improperly,
fumes may be given off. Supply fresh air and
consult a doctor if you feel unwell. The fumes may
irritate the airways.
Risk of fire!
 Never charge the battery near acids or highly
flammable materials. There is a risk of fire.
Risk of explosion!
 Protect the battery from heat and fire.
 Do not expose the battery to strong sunlight for
a prolonged period.
