Additionally, the following selections are possible using the software
buttons:
Button F1 ("RESET") resets the "maximum" and "minimum" indications
to "0".
Button F3 ("PAUSE") interrupts the detection; the present measured
value is not held.
Button F2 ("RUN") reactivates detection, i.e. the "PAUSE" function is
released.

To quit the "MIN/MAX" function, press button F4 ("EXIT"); the current
screen appears.
4.4.7 STORAGE
Up to 15 screen pages of a digital or graphical measurement can be sto-
red (memory locations in hex code: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-A-B-C-D-E-F). To sto-
re measurement data proceed as follows:
Press the "STORAGE" button. As a result of this, the first four memory
locations appear, occupied or unoccupied. With software buttons F1 to
F4 the following selections can be made:
F1 Press this button to advance the memory location by one, i.e. the cur-
sor moves to the next following memory location each time the but-
ton is pressed.
F2 Press the "SAVE" button once to store the desired measured value. At
the same time "METER" indicates the memory contents of the digital
display and "GRAPH" the memory contents of the oscilloscope dis-
play. Following this is the unit of measurement of the stored value,
e.g. ACV.
F3 Press this button once to read (recall) the contents of the selected
memory location.

F4 Press this button to erase (clear) the contents of the selected memory
location.
To quit the STORAGE function and return to the original display, press
the Storage button again for about 3 seconds.
4.4.8 RANGE
Automatic range selection "AUTO" is switched off by pressing the "RAN-
GE" button, i.e. the desired measurement range is selected manually.
With AC voltage measurement, for example, one of the four ranges 4 V,
40 V, 400 V or 700 V is selected sequentially each time the button "RAN-
GE" is pressed.
To reselect "AUTO", automatic range selection, the "RANGE" button
must be pressed again and held for about 3 seconds.
5. Description of measurement functions
In full-circle order, the following functions can be selected with the
rotary switch:
• "~V"; AC voltage measurement up to 700 VAC rms max.
• "=V"; DC voltage measurement up to 1000 VDC max.
• "mV/Hi-Z"; DC and AC voltages measurements to 400 mVDC/AC rms
max. with an extremely high input resistance
• "Ω/•)"; resistance measurement to 40 MOhm max. and (acoustic) conti-
nuity testing to 400 Ohm max.
• ; capacity measurements to 4000 µF (= 4 mF) max. and diode tests
• "~=mA/uA"; DC and AC current measurements to 400 mA max.
• "~=A"; DC and AC current measurements to 20 A max.
• LOGIC"; logic level measurements (TTL, 5V, 3V) up to 5 V max.
• "SIG OUT"; TTL signal generator function to 20 kHz max.
• "AUX"; input for various adapters, such as temperature or humidity or
pressure
• and the "INSTALL" function with selection (of input resistance for dB
measurement, etc.) and test menu.
