b) Connect the black test lead to the measuring instrument "COM"
socket and the red test lead to the "V•Ω•Hz" socket
c) A bar graph is active at the left-hand edge of the screen during mea-
surements, being a high-speed analogue indicator. The bar graph
operates as a trend indicator.
d) Connect the test probes to the object to be measured and, if required,
follow the following button inputs to select the available sub-func-
tions:
REL
Press button "F1" to set the present indication to "0", i.e. all the
following measurements are with reference to "0 V". The diffe-
rence from the set "zero point" is displayed. During this function
the symbol "REL" flashes. To switch off the function, press but-
ton F1 once (flashing stops, REL function off).

In the "Peak Hold" function, the highest ("MAX") and lowest
("MIN") peak voltage values occurring at any time are captured
and indicated. The present measured value always appears In the
upper line of the display (the Peak Hold function can only be cal-
led in digital mode). In the basic menu press button "F2".

dB value measurements are also possible with this measuring
instrument. The input resistance is established in this connection
within the "INSTALL" function (described under 5.11) and is
adjustable from 2 Ohm to 1 kOhm. The input resistance set at

sponds to 0.775 Vrms into 600 Ohm.
To carry out frequency measurement (Hz) or pulse/interval measurement
(Duty) or pulse width measurement (delta t) or period measurement
(delta T), even during DC voltage measurements (for example to measu-
re ripple voltages or modulations), press the "Hz" button (see under
4.4.5).
If the graphical display is preferred, press the "MODE" button once (see
under 4.4.3).
Note!
When "-" appears in front of the DC voltage measured value, the mea-
sured voltage is negative (or the test leads are reversed).

5.3 mV DC and AC voltage measurement (mV/Hi-Z)
For measurement of very small DC or AC voltages up to 400 mV AC rms
or mV DC max. proceed as follows:
a) Set the rotary switch to "mV/Hi-Z". The input resistance is now extre-
mely high (Hi-Z = high impedance)
b) Connect the black test lead to the measuring instrument "COM"
socket and the red test lead to the "V•Ω•Hz" socket
