°C/°F Press button F1 for the measurement of temperature in "°C" or in
"°F".
%RH Press button F2 for the measurement of relative humidity in "%".
psi Press button F3 for the measurement of air pressure in „psi".
Hi-A Press button F4 for the measurement of high currents in "A".
Attention!
The adapters for the measurement of relative humidity and pressure are
currently in development. The temperature adapter is available optio-
nally under part number 127957. The high current adapter is similarly
available optionally, under part number 127965.
P-H> In the "Peak Hold" function, the highest ("MAX") and lowest
("MIN") temperature values occurring at any time are captured and
indicated. The present measured value always appears In the upper
line of the display (the Peak Hold function can only be called in
digital mode). In the basic menu press buttons "F1" and then "F2".
In the sub-menu "P-H>", button F1 resets the indicated value (to
"0"), button F3 interrupts the measurement ("Pause") and button
F2 restarts this ("Run"). To quit the "P-H>" function, press button
F4.
REL Press button "F1" to set the present indication to "0" during tem-
perature measurements, i.e. all the following measurements are
with reference to "0°C". The difference from the set "zero point"
is displayed. During this function the symbol "REL" flashes. To
switch off the function, press button F1 once (flashing stops).

5.11 "INSTALL" set-up function
Before starting measurements (after switching on the measuring instru-
ment) various settings are possible, such as the input resistance for dB

measurement, switching on/off the built-in sounder ("BEEPER") and
switching on/off the Automatic Power Off function ("SLEEP").
To adjust the set-up, proceed as follows:
a) Set the rotary switch to "INSTALL"
b) Press button F1 to select the function to be set.
c) Press button F2 to switch the selected function on (enabled) or off
(disabled)
d) Press button F3 to store (Save) the changed setting(s)
e) Finally, press button F4 to initialise the measuring instrument or to
carry out the self-test.
dB The first function concerns the setting of the matching resistance
during dB value measurement. The following values may be set:
2, 3, 8, 16, 50, 75, 93, 110, 125, 135, 150, 300, 600, 900 or 1000
Ohm. Press button F2 to change the setting and button F3 to
save this.
BEEPER This function concerns the setting of the sounder. Press button F2
to switch the sounder on (enabled) or off (disabled) and again
button F3 to save.
SLEEP This function concerns switching off the measuring instrument
automatically when inactive for some 30 minutes. Press button
F2 to switch on/off the Automatic Power Off function and but-
ton F3 to save this. In multimeter mode, the time remaining until
switch-off is displayed in the form of a bar graph with 3-minute
intervals. At the last step, an interrupted signal tone sounds for
about 2 minutes. During the last minute before switch-off, the
acoustic warning signal changes to a continuous tone.
TEST Press button F4 to initiate self-test. First the memory is tested,
then the system and afterwards various components. When the
test runs successfully, the word "GOOD" is displayed.
