c) Connect the test probes to the object to be measured and, if required,
follow the following button inputs to select available sub-functions:
basic menu
d) Each time button F1 is pressed, the output frequency under 20 kHz is
changed upwards by 1 kHz, under 1000 Hz by 10 Hz and under 100 Hz
by 1 Hz.
e) Each time button F2 is pressed, the output frequency under 20 kHz is
changed downwards by 1 kHz, under 1000 Hz by 10 Hz and under 100
Hz by 1 Hz.
"OUT" Press button F3 to switch the output of the signal generator on
(symbol flashes) or off (symbol steady).
Attention!
Do not short-circuit the signal generator output of the measuring instru-
ment, because the unit can be destroyed by this.
Connect no voltage to the signal generator output of the measuring
instrument, because the unit can similarly be damaged or destroyed.

Attention!
Do not measure voltages or currents at the adapter input (except during
current measurement, because of double occupancy of the input
sockets), to avoid damaging or destroying the measuring instrument.

To avoid damaging the measuring instrument, connect the recommen-
ded adapters.
This measurement input enables the connection of various adapters for
various measurements such as temperature measurement (in °C or °F),
humidity measurement (in %RH), pressure measurement (in psi) and
current measurement over 20 A (high current measurement, "Hi-A").
The temperature adapter is not supplied with the measuring instru-
ment, but available optionally. This is also so for the high current mea-
surement adapter. The other remaining adapters are in development.
To measure temperature or one of the other parameters (when the cor-
responding adapter is available), proceed as follows:
a) Set the rotary switch to "AUX".
b) Connect the black test lead to the measuring instrument "COM"
socket and the red test lead to the "-I(-•-I<-•-mA•SIG• AUX•LOGIC"
socket.
c) A bar graph is active at the left-hand edge of the screen during mea-
surements, being a high-speed analogue indicator. The bar graph
operates as a trend indicator.
d) Connect the test probe(s) to the object to be measured and, if requi-
red, follow the following button inputs to select available sub-func-
tions:
