Transport

Delivery and performance

Check that all parts are present and

receipt.
The scope of delivery is apparent from

the dispatch documents and the design
from the order number.
The performance of the valve is checked

at the factory.

Storage

Store the valve free from dust and

moisture in its original packaging.
Avoid UV rays and direct sunlight.

Solvents, chemicals, acids, fuels or

similar fl uids must not be stored in the
same room as valves and their spare
parts.

The GEMÜ 512 pneumatically operated
2/2-way valve is a metal globe valve with
a straight through body and a robust low
maintenance aluminium piston actuator.
The valve bodies are available in various
designs as shown in the data sheet.
Diverse accessories are available, such as
electrical position indicators, stroke limiters,
electro-pneumatic positioners and process
controllers.
The valve spindle is sealed by a self-
adjusting gland packing providing low
maintenance and reliable valve spindle
sealing even after a long service life. The
wiper ring fitted in front of the gland packing
protects the seal against contamination and
damage.
