Transport

Delivery and performance

Check that all parts are present and

receipt.
The scope of delivery is apparent from

the dispatch documents and the design
from the order number.
The performance of the valve is checked

at the factory.

Storage

Store the valve free from dust and

moisture in its original packaging.
Store the valve in "open" position.

Avoid UV rays and direct sunlight.

Maximum storage temperature: 40 °C.

Solvents, chemicals, acids, fuels or

similar fl uids must not be stored in the
same room as valves and their spare
parts.

Functional description

GEMÜ 617 / 677 is a plastic diaphragm
valve with a 2/2-way body and a low
maintenance plastic bonnet. GEMÜ 677
has an ergonomically designed handwheel.
All medium wetted parts, the bonnet and
handwheel are made of plastic. The valve
has an integral optical position indicator as
standard. The valve body and the diaphragm
are available in various designs as shown in
the data sheet.
Optional accessory for GEMÜ 617:
Mounting plate.
Optional accessories for GEMÜ 677:
electrical remote indication that the valve
is in the open position and a lockable
handwheel.
