Transport

Only transport the diaphragm valve by

suitable means. Do not drop. Handle
carefully.
Dispose of packing material according

regulations / environmental protection
laws.

Delivery and performance

Check that all parts are present and

check for any damage immediately upon
receipt.
The scope of delivery is apparent from

the dispatch documents and the design
from the order number.
The performance of the diaphragm valve

is checked at the factory.

Storage

Store the diaphragm valve free from dust

and moisture in its original packaging.
Store the diaphragm valve in "open"
G
position.
Avoid UV rays and direct sunlight.

Maximum storage temperature: 40 °C.

Solvents, chemicals, acids, fuels or

similar fl uids must not be stored in the
same room as valves and their spare
parts.

The tools required for installation and

assembly are not included in the scope
of delivery.
Use appropriate, functional and safe

Functional description

GEMÜ 611 / 671 is a metal diaphragm valve
with a 2/2-way body and a low maintenance
plastic bonnet. The valve has an integral
optical position indicator as standard. The
valve body and the diaphragm are available
in various designs as shown in the data
sheet. Optional accessories for GEMÜ 671:
Electrical remote indication that the valve
is in the open position and a lockable
handwheel clamp.
