11. Operation

a) Setting the operating mode
The effect light can be controlled with the integrated controller or with an external DMX controller. Addi-
tionally, it can be used as a master device with integrated controller to control other connected effect lights
synchronously in master-slave mode, or as slave device via the controller of another effect light.
Use the display and function buttons MENU, UP, DOWN and ENTER to set the operating modes.
• Press MENU repeatedly to select the desired function.
• Press the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
• Select the desired setting with the UP and DOWN buttons.
• Press the ENTER button to confirm your selection.
• Select the second setting for the menu item (if present) with the UP and DOWN buttons.
• Confirm your selection again with ENTER.
To return to the main level in the menu, push the button MENU.
The installed controller needs approx. two seconds to accept and implement the settings.
If no button has been pushed for 10 seconds, the display will switch off automatically. To reacti-
vate it, push any button.
Once a DMX signal is recognised at the DMX IN input, the device will automatically switch to
DMX or slave mode. If no DMX signal is recognised anymore, the device will automatically return
to the previous operating mode.
