5. If you need to clean the dust container, you have to remove the dust container lid
fi rst by turning it conterclockwise and pulling it off. NOTE: Orientation marks for the
removal and placement of the lid are provided on the lid and dust container. You
can remove the lid when the ▼ mark on the lid is pointing towards the  mark on
the dust container. If necessary, thoroughly rinse the dust container with clear, luke-
warm water. CAUTION: Do not under any circumstances clean the dust contai-
ner in a washing machine or dishwasher! Then shake off any excess water and
allow the dust container to dry completely in the air.
6. When the dust container is completely dry, screw the dust container lid fi rmly back
onto the dust container. NOTE: Orientation marks for the removal and placement of
the lid are provided on the lid and dust container. Place the lid on the dust container.
The ▼ mark on the lid has to point to the  mark on the dust container. Turn the lid
clockwise until the ▼ mark on the lid is pointing to the  mark on the dust container.
7. Place the dust container into the device: Hold it by the handle and place the bot-
tom of the container into the device fi rst. Then push the handle against the device
housing until the dust container is heard to lock in place. Hold the device by the
handle and lift it to check that the dust container is in the correct position.

1. Push the release button on the dust bin and pull it out of
the device by the handle.
2. The dust fi lter is located in the dust container lid. Open the
dust container lid by releasing the catch on the handle
and fl ipping up the lid.
3. Remove the dust fi lter for cleaning. Tap out the contents
of the dust fi lter over a dustbin and brush off the loose dirt.
Never clean the dust fi lter with water!
