Spin speed

To treat delicate laundry gently, the spin speed can be
reduced or rinse stop can be selected.
The machine spins with the rotational speed set for the
selected programme if you do not reduce the rotational
speed. This can be reduced in steps of 100 rpm.
The slowest possible spin speed is 300 rpm.
The reduction of the spin speed also affects intermedi-
ate spinning.
 Press the button «Spin speed»
speed of the selected programme is displayed.
 Press the button several times until the desired
speed is displayed.
Saving hint
 Select a high speed if the laundry is dried in a dryer
afterward: Well pre-dried laundry requires considerably
less energy and time for machine drying.

Rinsing stop

You can avoid creases in sensitive laundry with a rinse
stop. The laundry is held in the last rinse water.
This setting does not influence the spin speed during
intermediate spinning.
 Press the «Spin stop» button several times until
«SPIN STOP» is displayed.
After spin stop, the programme can be ended with or
without spinning (cf. «Washing / Ending the programme
with rinsing stop»).

Half load

If you switch on this function for a selected program,
the water quantity for washing and rinsing is reduced by
approx. half.
If you use dosage pumps, the pump running time is re-
duced to approx. 2/3. You save water, energy, detergent
and time.
 Select the half load function if you only put in half the
laundry load or less.
 The half load function is not available for a few washing
programmes (e.g., disinfection programmes, autoClean,
WetClean programmes).
Notice
The heating version «Steam direct» must not be used
for the half load function. Otherwise, this involves the
risk of local overheating of the detergent due to the
reduced amount of water.

Start time preselection

This function enables a delayed start of the selected
programme.
When you programme the start time preselection, you
set at which time the programme is to end.
Enter the time for programme end
 Press the «Start time preselection» button.
The date and time of the previously valid programme
end is displayed at the bottom right.

Language selection (temporary)

The position of the cursor blinks:

 You can change the values using the cursor keys
«Up» and «Down» .
 You can switch between «Date» and «Time» using the
cursor keys «Left» und «Right»
 To end the entry and start the preselection time,
press the start button.
Blinking stops. The machine calculates the proper start-
ing time automatically.
Abort start time preselection
 Press the deletion key «C».
 The display returns to the basic setting.
Additional detergent can be added during a washing
programme.
Filling it during subsequent dosing is via cup 1 (at the
very left).
 Fill the detergent in cup 1.
 Press the «Subsequent dosing»
CAUTION
Wash water splashes!
Danger of eye injuries.
 Always insert all five detergent cups!
 Always close the lid of the detergent drawer during
washing!
You can change the display language temporarily using
this function.
If the machine is switched off and on again or if it is
activated from standby operation, the language switches
back automatically to the default language (Machine
Configuration D02 / cf. Service Instructions).
