f) Setting the model name (NAME)

In addition to the memory numbers 0–9, you can assign a short name consisting of three letters, digits or characters to
each model.
For this purpose, proceed as follows:
Switch on the transmitter. On the transmitter's LC display the operating display
will appear. Now press the "SEL" menu select button 1 time (see illustration 1,
pos. 5) and, using the two setting buttons (see illustration 1, pos. 8), select the
memory space (0...9) for which you want to change the name (in this example,
the name of model memory 3 s changed).
Now press the "SEL" menu select button 5 times. On the left edge of the display
"NAME" will appear and on the top right the present memory space is displayed
(in the example on the right memory slot 3).
With the two setting buttons plus "+" and minus "-" (see ill. 1, pos. 8) you can now
set the center letter. The characters are displayed in the following order: the digits
0-9, then the alphabet, then special characters.
When the center letter is assigned, you can select the third letter with the channel
shift button "CH" (see illustration 1, pos. 6) and set it according to the same
procedure.
Afterwards you press the channel shift key "CH" again to get to the first letter. If
need be, you press the channel shift key "CH" again to be able to change the
center letter again. With the menu selection button "SEL" (see ill. 1, pos. 5), you
finish programming.
