12. Programming the remote control

Your remote control system offers you the option to adjust the drive
and steering functions of your model to your requirements and to
permanently store the values you have determined. Because only a
perfectly adjusted model to the respective driver offers you maximum
driving fun.
The system is programmed using the clearly structured LC display
(also see ill. 1, pos. 15) and 4 user-friendly function buttons on the
right side of the system:
Menu select button ("SEL"):
With this button (also see ill. 1, pos. 5), you can call up the individual software functions in a programming menu.
Channel shift key ("CH"):
With this button (also see ill. 1, pos. 6), you can select the channel for setting.
Settings button plus ("+") and minus ("-"):
With these two buttons (also see ill. 1, pos. 8), the desired settings value can be reduced or increased.
a) Selecting a model memory
Your remote control system provides a total of ten (0-9) different model memories
in which you can store the individual settings for ten different models. Alternatively,
you can also set different values for one model and then save them separately.
To select the model memory, proceed as follows:
Switch on the transmitter. On the transmitter's LC display the operating display
will appear. Now press the "SEL" menu button (see illustration 1, pos. 5) once.
On the top left on the display "MDL" appears and instead of the operating voltage,
the name of the model memory is displayed with 3 letters and/or characters. The
number of the model memory is shown on the display on the top right.
Using the two setting buttons plus "+" and minus "-" (see illustration 01, no. 8),
you can now select any memory between 0 and 9. The selected model memory is
called up automatically whenever you switch on the device and will remain active
until you select a different model memory in this menu.
If you do not press a button for more than one minute, the display returns to the
operating mode display.
