Accessories: Line Reactor
Line Reactor If the mains voltage is affected by the connection of large consumers (e.g. reactive-power compensation
equipment without line reactor, welding equipment, HF furnaces, electromagnetic chucks, etc.), the use
of mains filter is recommended to protect the KEB COMBIVERT/COMBIDRIVE against malfunctions. The
use of line reactors also reduces the system perturbations caused by the frequency inverter.
For small inductive devices (e.g. solenoid valves, electromagnets, relays, etc.) it is advisable to use RC
filter, free-wheeling diode or varistor in parallel to these devices to absorb the energy released at switch-
off.
