Charging and discharge current
The capacity (C) charged into the battery and the capacity (D) discharged is stated in milliampere hours
(mAh) or ampere hours (Ah). For the Cycle and Alive programmes, the old data is deleted for recharging
or discharging. The capcity for recharging (trickle) is not calculated, displayed nor added.

Initial operation

If required, remove all batteries inserted, connect the charging device and activate the POWER switch at
the back of the device to switch it on. You can see the display for approx. 2 seconds on the display

SELFTEST RUNNING
During this time, the charging device carries out a self-test and checks for any existing batteries. This is
necessary for maintaining the memory of all data in the event of a power outage (memory backup).
Now leave the charging device on for at least 2 hours so that the build-in Goldcap can recharge to the
maximum. This Goldcap serves to save all data for at least 48 hours when switched or in the event of a
power outage. The charging device is of course fully operational during this time.

The „—-" lines mean that no battery is inserted in these two slots.
The numbers 1 to 4 represent the 4 slots where the Mono, Baby, Mignon or Micro batteries can be in-
serted. The alignment on the display corresponds to that of the slots on the device.
The letter „A" corresponds to the left 9-volt slot and the letter „B" to that of the 9-volt slot.
