Avoid operation in the immediate proximity of strong magnetic fields (speakers, magnets), electroma-
gnetic fields (transformers, engines, reels, relays, gates, electromagnets), electrostatic fields (charging,
discharging), transmitting areals or HF generators. This can have a negative effect on the operation.
If the device no longer reacts after the impact of strong magnetic fields, the device must be switched off
at the mains and switched back on.
Please also observe Section „Clearing faults".

Handling

Do not switch on your charging device immediately after it has been taken from a cold to a warm envi-
ronment. The condensation which forms can damage the device.
Leave the charging device switched off and wait until it has reached room temperature.
Make sure there is adequate ventilation while operating the device. The ventilation grooves on the front
and rear of the housing must never be covered.
The device must be placed on a hard, non-inflammable surface. Do not place the device on a table cloth
and never on the carpet. The device is cooled by the built-in ventilator which is always switched on. The
device must always have sufficient distance to the wall or to any other obstacle during operation so that
the air circulation is not hampered.
The charging device is not designed for application to human beings or animals.
The charging device and the inserted batteries must never be operated without supervision.
Do not wear any metal or conducting materials, e.g. jewellery (necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc.) while you
are working with the charging device.
Laying metal cables and contacts is prohibited.
