Safety instructions

The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! Liability for any and all consequential damage is
excluded!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. Under these cir-
cumstances, any warranty expires.
The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the charging device is inadmissible because of
safety and approval reasons (CE).
This charging device is constructed according to protection class II. As source of voltage only a correct
mains socket (230V AC, 50Hz) for the public supply system may be used.
The charging device must be set up correctly. Please follow the operating instructions carefully in doing
so.
The device must be commissioned by staff with a respective qualification to ensure safe operation of the
product.
When setting up the product, make sure that the power cable is not pinched or damaged by sharp edges.
Never position the charging device in the vicinity of combustible or easily inflammable materials, e.g. cur-
tains!
Do not expose the charging device to high temperatures, strong vibrations or damp.
Devices connected to a power supply should be kept out of the reach of children. Therefore, be especially
careful when children are around.
On industrial sites the accident prevention regulations of the association of the industrial workers' society
for electrical equipment and utilities must be followed.
In schools, training centres, computer and self-help workshops, use of charging devices must be super-
vised by trained personnel in a responsible manner.
ATTENTION
Charging devices and batteries must be kept out of the reach of children.
Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries.
