f) Switching the quadrocopter on

So that the receiver in the quadrocopter can react to the signal transmitted, the receiver and the transmitter must have
the same digital coding (binding). For this reason it is important that you switch on the quadrocopter as described
below.
First insert the charged flight battery into the quadrocopter as described above and set the quadrocopter on a flat
base.
Then turn on the transmitter using the on/off switch (see Figure 1, no. 10).
Briefly press the function button on the quadrocopter (1).
The LED on the function button as well as the LEDs un-
der the propellers flash a few times quickly and then flash
slowly.
Now slide the joystick for the pitch and yaw function (see
also Figure 1, no. 13) all the way up. The transmitter emits
a short beep.
Then move the joystick down as far as it will go. The trans-
mitter again emits a short beep.
The LEDs in the quadrocopter flicker for approx. 2
seconds and remain on after successful binding. The LED
indicator on the transmitter also remains on.
The quadrocopter is now ready to start.
Important:
There should be no other 2.4 GHz transmitters
in the immediate vicinity during the switching on
process.
The quadrocopter must not be moved or turned
during the switching on process.
If the LEDs in the landing legs are not continu-
ously on after the switching on process and
instead continue to flash, the switching on pro-
cess has failed and must be repeated in full.
The LED lights on the quadrocopter can be switched on and off by remote control. To do this, quickly push the push
button for the WiFi/light function (see Figure 1, item 12) upwards/forwards. Each press of the button changes the
LEDs' status.
To turn off the quadrocopter again, press and hold the quadrocopter's function button, until the LEDs turn off. Now you
can also switch the transmitter off.
